Understanding Defilement!
I'm so glad that Jesus made clear what actually defile a person because there seems to be a great misunderstanding. Matthew 15:15-20 reads "Then Peter answered and said to Him, Explain this parable to us. So Jesus said "Are you also still without understanding? Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? But those things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but not to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man."
This scripture says to me that, It's not your surroundings that defile or make you less of a person, it's what you think, say, and do that are out of God's will which defile and make you less than who you truly are; and then Jesus gives a few examples of evil thoughts and deeds that defile. Nevertheless, God's love is always with us, meditation is the best way I know, to stay in the awareness of God's love, lets get started today! www.sowgoodseed.today
